    US deports immigrants to Venezuela after judge blocked transfer to Guantanamo Bay

    EL PASO, Texas – Three immigrants who received a restraining order towards the federal authorities to keep away from switch to the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba had been deported this week on direct flights to Venezuela, in accordance with courtroom paperwork revealed Friday.

    The three males had been deported Monday, the day after a federal choose authorized a short lived order blocking a attainable switch to Guantanamo Bay.

    Immigrant rights teams have filed a separate lawsuit demanding entry to individuals who have been despatched Guantanamo Bay with out entry to authorized counsel or communication with family members.
