SURFSIDE, Fla. – Police are trying to find a teenage boy who they are saying is behind a string of high-end automobile thefts out of Miami-Dade County.
In response to police, 17-year-old Tremar Haynes is being sought by police after initially being arrested and launched on bail for a case out of Miami Seaside.
Now Haynes is being hunted for a case out of Surfside by which a Porsche was stolen in broad daylight.
“We had a rash of thefts all through the coastal communities,” mentioned Surfside police Chief Wayne Holbrook.
Surfside police are actually asking for Haynes to show himself in for dealing in stolen property.
Throughout Surfside’s investigation, Miami Seaside police was investigating one other high-end automobile theft, which led to a pursuit and Haynes in handcuffs.
