PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Freeway Patrol stated a 75-year-old man from Palatka died Saturday night after a crash involving two pickup vehicles passed off in Putnam County.

In response to FHP, the person was on the intersection of Carraway Road and U.S. Freeway 17 making ready to depart the Greenback Basic parking zone. As he turned south onto the roadway, the person “violated the best of method ” of an oncoming pickup truck, which led to the crash.
The Palatka man’s truck was “redirected and overturned” earlier than coming to a relaxation. FHP added that he was not sporting his seatbelt on the time of the crash.
He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening accidents earlier than medical employees stated he had died.
