TEL AVIV – Israeli Protection Minister Israel Katz stated Sunday he has instructed the army to organize to stay in a number of the occupied West Financial institution’s city refugee camps “for the approaching 12 months.”

Katz stated that some 40,000 Palestinians had been displaced from three of the camps within the northern West Financial institution and that they have been now “emptied of residents.”

He stated the army was to organize for “an prolonged keep” within the camps and “to not permit the return of residents.”

The feedback by Katz come as Israel is intensifying an offensive within the Palestinian territory and because the ceasefire that paused the struggle in Gaza holds.

The army stated Sunday it was increasing the raid within the West Financial institution to different areas and was sending tanks to Jenin, a militant stronghold.
