DORAL, Fla. – South Florida’s Jewish group got here collectively in Doral on Thursday night time to have fun the second night time of Hanukkah with a festive menorah lighting.
Organized by the Chabad Jewish Middle of Doral, the annual occasion drew crowds for a night of custom and unity.
Attendees loved kosher desserts, participated in raffle giveaways, and mirrored on the vacation’s theme of spreading mild within the face of darkness.
“Gentle is so highly effective that only a small candle can push away plenty of darkness,” stated Rabbi Avrohom Brashevitzky, who led the ceremony. “It’s a reminder that goodness and righteousness can prevail, even in difficult occasions.”
Because the nine-foot menorah illuminated the night time sky, the group was inspired to embrace the spirit of Hanukkah by committing to good deeds all through the vacation season.
The celebration underscored the competition’s enduring message of hope, resilience, and the triumph of sunshine over darkness.
