They stated a girl advised them that she was driving south on NW Ridgewood Avenue on the intersection of West US Hwy 90 when she observed a bicyclist within the crosswalk trying to cross eastbound.
Police later recognized the bicyclist as 67-year-old Danny Phelps.
The lady stated she made eye contact with Phelps, who motioned for her to maintain going, however she stated as she began to maneuver her automobile, Phelps jumped in entrance of it along with his bicycle and was hit.
