OCALA, Fla. (WFLA) — A highschool assistant coach was arrested on Friday after he was accused of participating in sexual exercise with a minor, in accordance with the Ocala Police Division.
In accordance with an OPD social media publish, police arrested James Edward Ford III, 43, after being knowledgeable of an alleged inappropriate relationship between him and an unnamed 16-year-old.
Ford was the assistant soccer coach for West Port Excessive Faculty.
Police stated they interviewed the sufferer, a pupil at West Port Excessive Faculty, who divulged that she and Ford started speaking in January of 2024 and began assembly outdoors of college in August.
