TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Flags shall be at half-staff throughout Florida this weekend, Might 3- 4.
Gov. DeSantis made the order in observance of Nationwide Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, which honors those that died within the line of responsibility.
A tribute shall be held on the Nationwide Fallen Firefighters Monument in Emmitsburg, Maryland, the place 140 firefighters shall be acknowledged for the final word sacrifice they made for the protection of their communities.
There shall be a candlelight service this night, Saturday, Might 3, from 7:30-9:30 p.m., and the memorial service shall be held Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
