    WATCH: Raging brush fire comes close to Florida homes

    NAPLES, Fla. (WFLA) — A raging Florida brush hearth got here very near properties on Wednesday.

    A video from Greg Milewicz confirmed intense flames and smoke take over the again yard’s of a number of properties within the Wilshire Lakes neighborhood in Naples.

    “Holy (explitive) the warmth. I referred to as the hearth division they need to be right here,” Milewicz mentioned within the video.

    Milewicz’s video confirmed some folks battle the flames with their backyard hoses. He instructed a number of neighbors to depart their properties and get to security.

    “There have been big flames in folks’s backyards, in our neighborhood, and the smoke simply stored rising and rising,” Kristin Milewicz instructed Naples Daily News.

    The Florida Forest Service mentioned the hearth spanned 10 acres off Interstate 75, south of Immokalee Highway. WFTX reported that the hearth was 98% contained on Thursday morning.
