FORT MYERS, Fla. (WFLA) — A pair and their canine have been rescued from their house on Tuesday because it was engulfed in flames.
In accordance with the Lee County Sheriff’s Workplace, deputies arrived at a burning cell house in North Fort Myers.
On the scene, Deputy Gehle Jr. and Deputy Schack found that the couple who owned the house, together with their canine, have been trapped inside and struggling to flee.
The video confirmed one of many deputies asking a bystander if the home is empty as he runs in the direction of the burning construction. Each officers can then be seen dashing into the home earlier than finding and carrying the couple and their pet out to security.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned that the couple was taken to the hospital and handled for non-life-threatening accidents.
