LONGWOOD, Fla. (WFLA) — A twister that touched down in Seminole County on Monday ripped a pool enclosure aside and hurled it to a different aspect of a house.
The Nationwide Climate Service confirmed to NBC affiliate WESH that the twister had peak winds of 120 mph, classifying it an EF-2.
A video captured by Amy Sweezy confirmed the twister rip via her yard.
“Our display enclosure from the pool — it simply came to visit the roof and now it is within the entrance. Oh my gosh, and within the entrance yard, that is our display enclosure,” somebody mentioned within the video.
Sweezy’s video confirmed timber snapped in half and a number of other fences down and blown aside.
“All of these items are simply structural and so minor,” the girl says within the video. “Everyone seems to be protected and we didn’t lose a whole home.”
