FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A Fort Lauderdale house owner is demanding accountability after house surveillance video obtained completely by Native 10 Information on Tuesday captured the terrifying second after an SUV veered off the highway and slammed into her driveway, narrowly lacking her house over the weekend.

The incident occurred simply after 2 a.m. Saturday, leaving deep tire tracks throughout Argeri Sequeira’s garden and what she says was 1000’s of {dollars} in injury to her property — together with her Tesla and Cybertruck, which had been parked within the driveway, situated within the 1700 block of Southwest thirty first Avenue.

Fort Lauderdale police stated one of many occupants of the SUV requested a medic and was transported to Broward Well being Medical Middle with minor accidents.

“That is fairly devastating,” Sequeira advised Native 10’s Linnie Supall. “We began cleansing and we began cleansing over there,” she added, gesturing to the torn-up grass and particles scattered throughout her yard.

The unique video exhibits a chaotic scene: the SUV ramming by the yard and coming to a cease simply toes from the home.

Seconds later, two people could be seen stumbling out of the SUV — one in every of them bleeding from the nostril.

The motive force is then seen circling the SUV to examine the injury earlier than leaping again inside and dashing off. The automobile’s bumper was barely hanging on as they fled.

Sequeira advised Native 10 Information she watched the SUV peel away at excessive pace.

“I noticed them … I noticed the automobile going like loopy,” she stated.

“It’s tough to sleep right here after this,” she added. “You’re ready and anticipating one other accident in the course of the night time.”

Sequeira stated her Cybertruck was so badly broken it needed to be towed Tuesday.

Anybody with info on the incident is urged to name Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
