ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) — A Delta flight needed to be evacuated at a Florida Airport Monday morning after a hearth, officers mentioned.
Based on the Federal Aviation Administration, Delta Air Traces Flight 1213 was exiting a gate at Orlando Worldwide Airport to fly to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Worldwide Airport at about 11:15 a.m.
Whereas preparing for departure, the aircraft’s engine caught on fireplace.
The FAA mentioned the passengers evacuated the aircraft shortly with slides. No accidents have been reported.
Cellphone video posted by a witness confirmed the burning engine earlier than the passengers slid off.
“Holy s–, get out!” somebody is heard saying within the video.
