ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) — A vacationer was arrested after deputies mentioned she grabbed a teen to get a greater view of the brand new parade at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom on Monday evening.
In keeping with an arrest report obtained by NBC affiliate WESH, a 17-year-old woman was standing on the sidewalk on Predominant Avenue U.S.A. in entrance of Cinderella Citadel when 51-year-old Martha Lucia Zapata-Echeverri put her hand on her, “attempting to create space.”
The teenager requested the lady to not contact her, the report mentioned.
Deputies mentioned when the teenager moved again to assist one other visitor get previous her, Zapata-Echeverri grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to the aspect.
Zapata-Echeverri reportedly instructed deputies that she was following her daughter to attempt to get to the entrance of the group to observe the parade. She claimed the teenager pushed into her, saying it was “her spot.”
The arrest report acknowledged that Zapata-Echeverri pushed again and prompted a small abrasion and bruise on the teenager’s arm, WESH reported.
Deputies mentioned no witnesses or surveillance footage captured the incident.
Zapata-Echeverri was arrested and charged with baby abuse. Court docket data present that she pleaded not responsible.
Zapata-Echeverri had her first look on Tuesday. The information station reported that the lady’s legal professional mentioned she was visiting Central Florida on a vacationer visa and arrived on July 2.
Her legal professional instructed the information station that she is scheduled to fly again on Wednesday.
