ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Residents in St. Johns County gathered to share their ideas on a proposed improvement that may add 52 townhomes to the World Golf Village space.
The developer behind the challenge confronted pointed questions throughout a neighborhood assembly at Pacetti Bay Center College.
Among the many proposed models, 16 are slated to be workforce housing, geared toward people in “higher low to reasonable earnings classes.”
The ultimate price ticket for these houses is ready to be about $260,000.
“Dwelling costs to our academics, our younger adults which might be simply beginning out,” Autumn Martinage, who’s a part of the event staff, stated.
Nonetheless, many attendees voiced issues about how the world’s infrastructure would help the event.
“My home might be available on the market tomorrow,” one resident stated in the course of the assembly. Others echoed frustrations, citing overcrowded colleges, strained emergency providers, and rising site visitors congestion.
Invoice Shiny is a resident of St. Johns County. He stated he lives only a couple miles from the proposed challenge.

The townhomes can be on an 18.5-acre property between Terracina Drive and Samara Lakes Parkway. The models can be 2,000 sq. ft with 4 bedrooms and three loos.
The property is at present zoned for 21 single-family models. The property proprietor stated he hopes to get rezoned for the 52-unit challenge. That might require county fee approval.
