    Rescuers search in rough seas for 43 missing after a ferry sank near Bali, Indonesia

    JAKARTA – Rescuers have been looking out Thursday for 43 folks lacking in tough seas in a single day after a ferry carrying 65 folks sank close to Indonesia’s resort island of Bali.

    The KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya sank nearly half an hour after leaving East Java’s Ketapang port late Wednesday, the Nationwide Search and Rescue Company mentioned in a press release. It was sure for Bali’s Gilimanuk port, a 50-kilometer (30-mile) journey.

    The ferry carried 53 passengers, 12 crew members and 22 automobiles, together with 14 vehicles, it mentioned.
