    New image of missing Miami teen sparks hope 23 years after disappearance

    MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) — Twenty-three years after her disappearance, the household of lacking 15-year-old Yansis Juarez is ignited with hope {that a} new age-progression picture will spark recognition and produce them one step nearer to determining what occurred on that fateful day.

    Yansis was final seen leaving her residence in Miami on Could 5, 2002. Two weeks later, her household acquired a letter of their mailbox supposedly written by Yansis saying she “not needed to stay at residence,” based on NCMEC.

    NCMEC launched a brand new picture Monday depicting what Yansis could appear like immediately, at 38 years outdated.
