In 2023, Florida state legislators modified the regulation to require college districts to reschedule the start and finish of college days for center and highschool college students in constitution and public colleges.
The modifications required center college lessons to begin after 8 a.m. and highschool lessons after 8:30 a.m., had been set to take impact by July 2026.
Sen. Jennifer Bradley, R-District 6, launched Senate Invoice 296 to reverse the brand new insurance policies, releasing college boards from having to stick to the repair occasions proposed within the earlier invoice.
