    Nearly 300 protected queen conches illegally harvested in Florida Keys

    KEY WEST, Fla. (WFLA) — An investigation is underway right into a marine useful resource violation after 291 queen conch have been illegally harvested.

    The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Fee reported that the incident occurred within the space of 17 Shoreline Highway in Key Haven between July 7 and July 10.
