MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A person died after the power of a crash with a tractor-trailer truck on the Florida Turnpike propelled his automotive right into a canal Friday in Miami-Dade County.
In line with the Florida Freeway Patrol, a tractor-trailer truck and the grey Hyundai the person was driving collided alongside the Turnpike’s northbound lanes.
In line with Lt. Alex Camacho, a spokesman for FHP, the Hyundai “drove off the roadway right into a grassy space … overturned and landed in a canal.”
Rescue divers helped the person out of the Hyundai and the canal and hearth rescue personnel flew him to the HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, based on Camacho. The person died on the hospital.
