PINECREST, Fla. – Detectives arrested a 24-year-old man on Sunday in Palm Seaside County who was a suspect wished for assaulting a girl in Miami-Dade County.
In line with Pinecrest Chief Jason Cohen, the Atlantis Police Division helped detectives to arrest Michael Angelo Figueroa-Hernandez who was at a hospital.
Detectives accused Figueroa-Hernandez of attacking a girl who was strolling at about 7:30 a.m., on Tuesday, alongside Southwest 69 Courtroom, between 128 and 133 streets.
“He grabs her from behind in what was described as a bear hug, and … he touches her inappropriately,” Cohen mentioned Tuesday. “She instantly screams and fights again.”
Figueroa-Hernandez fled in a blue bicycle that he later deserted, police mentioned.
