    Largest flock of American flamingos in a decade spotted in Florida Everglades

    TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — One of many largest flocks of American flamingos within the final decade was noticed within the Everglades just lately, the South Florida Water Administration District mentioned in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

    “District workers noticed 125 American flamingos within the Everglades, which is the most important group of flamingos seen in South Florida within the final 10 years!” the submit learn.

    Officers with the water administration district mentioned extra flocks of flamingos have been noticed alongside the coastal Everglades and in stormwater therapy areas.

    Prepare dinner mentioned he was surveying the Florida Bay shoreline for Wooden Storks and Spoonbills when his helicopter pilot noticed two teams of birds.
