DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A Florida man is behind bars after police allege he sexually assaulted and kidnapped a lady at a Dothan resort.
Simply after 1:00 p.m. Sunday, officers have been referred to as to a Dothan resort within the 2100 block of Ross Clark Circle on studies of a kidnapping.
In keeping with Dothan police, resort workers mentioned they’d seen a person forcing a lady right into a resort room and shortly jumped into motion, rescuing the lady from the resort room earlier than calling the police.
Police mentioned when officers arrived on the resort, the suspect — recognized as Stephen Ayers of Blountstown, Florida — fled to the second ground, was surrounded and arrested.
Dothan Police Lt. Scott Owens tells WDHN that Ayers had made sexual advances towards the lady, and after she refused, Ayers touched her inappropriately and compelled her into the room.
Ayers is charged with kidnapping within the first diploma and sexual abuse within the first diploma. He was booked into the Houston County Jail with no bond.
