    SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — Gov. DeSantis held a press convention in Sarasota on Monday morning the place he signed two items of anti-squatting laws.

    He signed Senate Invoice 322, “Property Rights,” which authorizes sheriffs to take away folks “unlawfully occupying” industrial property.

    He additionally signed SB 606, “Public Lodging and Public Meals Service Institutions,” which can make it simpler for motels, motels and different hospitality companies to take away squatters or uncooperative friends from their property.
