ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (WFLA) — A young teen who fought off a man attempting to kidnap her shared her story for the primary time.
On June 29, 18-year-old Emma Marine was at her job at a smoke store in St. Augustine when Theodore Tundidor, 31, entered the institution. Tundidor briefly seemed round after which left solely to return an hour and a half later.
Emma recounted to reporters how, upon re-entry, Tundidor went behind the counter and began grabbing issues off the cabinets, placing merchandise in his pockets.
Tundidor then tried to go away, however Emma blocked his method.
“He mentioned, ‘what are you gonna do about it?’ After which I form of froze up somewhat bit,” mentioned Emma.
Surveillance video from exterior the store exhibits the person believed to be Tundidor pushing the younger lady out of the door and dragging her towards his truck.
Emma will be heard and seen within the video screaming as she fights to interrupt freed from the person’s grasp earlier than efficiently doing so and sprinting away.
A girl who was close by on the time witnessed the tried kidnapping and referred to as 911.

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Workplace arrested Tundidor, and he has been charged with kidnapping, theft, and grand theft auto.
