SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A Florida man claimed that he was informed by God to homicide a girl in Santa Rosa County, authorities stated.
Toby White of Milton was arrested Saturday in reference to the stabbing demise of Lucy Reed, 77, who was killed in entrance of her husband final week. She was taken to Santa Rosa Hospital the place she died shortly after she was attacked.
In response to Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson, White stole a car from an industrial space after the homicide. He was initially chased in Alachua County, however he wasn’t recognized as a homicide suspect on the time, which led to the chase being known as off.
Legislation enforcement later recognized White because the suspect, which led to a different chase. White crashed in the course of the chase and fled right into a wooded space.
Multiple agencies worked together and apprehended White in Suwannee County, Florida.
In response to Johnson, White informed investigators “God informed him to” after they requested him why he dedicated the crime.
