    TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — The highest Democrat in Florida’s Senate is leaving his celebration, declaring that “the Democratic Social gathering in Florida is lifeless.”

    Senate Minority Chief Jason Pizzo’s announcement on the Senate flooring Thursday that he is altering his registration to no celebration affiliation is the most recent blow to a celebration that has struggled to outline itself after a sequence of crushing electoral losses lately.
