    Florida renter brutally attacked landlord, rammed SUV into home, deputies say

    JENSEN BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida renter was charged with tried homicide after deputies stated he brutally attacked his landlord and rammed an SUV into the house.

    The Martin County Sheriff’s Workplace stated 69-year-old Brian Thomas Leach invited his landlord, who lives above him, to come back downstairs for dinner on Tuesday night time.

    When she did, investigators stated, “Leach brutally attacked and beat her, leaving her with extreme accidents.”

    Shortly after, Leach bought into his SUV and “deliberately rammed it into the construction, inflicting important injury,” the sheriff’s workplace stated in a Facebook post.

    Deputies had been referred to as to the house on North East Ocean View Circle in Jensen Seaside and detained Leach, who had slashed his personal arms with a knife.

    Leach was taken to a hospital and positioned in regulation enforcement custody. The sheriff’s workplace stated Leach might be booked into the Martin County Jail upon launch.

    The owner was additionally taken to a hospital and is being handled for her accidents.

    Deputies stated the case is being investigated as tried homicide.
