    Florida man frustrated with McDonald's drive-thru tries stealing cash register: police

    CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida man tried to steal a money drawer at a McDonald’s restaurant after getting annoyed within the drive-thru, in response to the Cape Coral Police Division.

    Simply after 4 a.m. on April 30, officers responded to a theft in progress on the quick meals chain, situated on Del Prado Boulevard North. A witness reported that after a person and an worker bought into an argument, the person tried stealing the register and took off in his automobile.

    Surveillance video of the encounter confirmed the person, recognized as 32-year-old Bray Allen Bamberger, speaking with the worker close to the register when their argument escalated.

    Bamberger walked behind the counter, forcing his well past two staff and grabbed the free money drawer, police mentioned. Two staff tugged on the register with Bamberger till the suspect ultimately let go.

    Officers mentioned Bamberger continued arguing earlier than he bought into his automobile and left the McDonald’s.

    That night, the Lee County Sheriff’s Workplace recognized Bamberger and tracked him right down to his Cape Coral house after taking fingerprints on the restaurant’s door and blasting his photograph on social media.
