    Florida man dies after hit in chest from hockey puck: sheriff's office

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida man died Tuesday after struggling cardiac arrest throughout a hockey sport.

    The 64-year-old Gainesville man collapsed after being hit within the chest with a hockey puck on the Neighborhood First Igloo ice rink, in response to a report from NBC affiliate WTLV.

    A witness instructed the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Workplace that the goalie left the sport after the hit and stated he didn’t really feel nicely. He was taken to the hospital, the place he later died.

    His household reported that he didn’t have any preexisting medical situations.
