PALM COAST, Fla. (WFLA) — A Palm Coast man was arrested following a string of house equipment thefts in Florida, based on deputies.
All through the month of January, 50-year-old James Shepard stole 22 house home equipment from house building websites in Flagler and St. Johns County, based on each Flager and St. Johns County Sheriff’s Places of work.
Officers stated cameras captured Shepard driving via communities beneath building, getting into properties, eradicating the home equipment, and putting them within the mattress of his truck.
The stolen home equipment ranged from fridges, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers, together with smaller objects resembling doorknobs, paint, air filters, and tile grout.
To date, detectives imagine Shepard dedicated eight burglaries in St. Johns County. He was arrested on Jan. 21 after discovering the objects in a storage unit belonging to Shepard.
The day prior, officers arrested and charged Shepard for driving with an expired license and driving a car with a stolen license plate. A full-size fridge, later decided to be stolen, was additionally in his truck throughout this arrest.
