    Florida fisherman threatened in viral boat rage video says he feared he was 'going to die'

    PUNTA GORDA, Fla. (WFLA) — The fisherman threatened by a constitution captain in a viral video earlier this month is talking out for the primary time.

    NBC affiliate WBBH spoke with Gage Towles, the fisherman who posted a viral video of the second Constitution Captain Brock Horner of Tarpon Coast Fishing stormed his boat.

    The 22-year-old stated he is on the water every single day, however a traditional fishing day on the Peace River is now one which he’ll always remember.

    Whereas Towles was out fishing on April 1, the video confirmed Horner threatening him and ultimately getting on his boat.

    “In the end, he did slowly pull his boat as much as me, and when he jumped on my boat, that is when it went from me simply brushing this man off to now fearing that I used to be going to die,” Towles advised WBBH.

    Towles advised the information station that he had a gun on his boat, however did not use it “as a result of he didn’t really feel like anybody deserved to lose their life that day.”

    He stated the state of affairs shook him to his core, however it will not cease him from fishing sooner or later.

    “I am going to nonetheless be chasing the fish each single day,” he stated. “I like to fish. It is my ardour. It is the whole lot. It is what motivates me to get by means of life.”
