DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — Firefighters in Daytona Seashore battled a brush fireplace that spanned almost 100 acres Sunday.
The Daytona Seashore Hearth Division stated a number of crews had been on the scene round 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1.
The flames reportedly ignited in an space simply north of Daytona Seashore’s Margaritaville group, situated off of LPGA Boulevard.

Nonetheless, officers stated no buildings or properties had been affected, and there have been no accidents reported.
Firefighters labored alongside the Florida Forest Service to extinguish the blaze.
In an update round 3 p.m., the hearth division stated the blaze had been contained.
As of Sunday afternoon, the reason for the hearth remained unclear.
