ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A suspicious dying investigation is underway after a 6-year-old was discovered useless in a bed room on Friday morning, the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned.
Deputies mentioned they have been referred to as to a house on Bedford Drive round 10 a.m. to conduct a welfare examine.
A faculty useful resource officer informed deputies they have been involved in regards to the 6-year-old as a result of the kid had been absent from college since Could 14.
Deputies spoke to the kid’s mom, who directed them to a bed room inside the house. There, the deputies discovered the kid deceased.
“She took him inside and directed him to the bed room the place the deputy discovered the kid deceased mendacity in mattress,” Chief Deputy John Bolduc informed the TC Palm. “It seems the kid has been useless for a number of days.”
Bolduc mentioned the kid attended Samuel Gaines Academy in Fort Pierce and was reportedly seen alive round Could 17.

Bolduc mentioned the kid’s mom is in custody and is being questioned.
