TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida will fly flags at half-staff tomorrow to honor officers with the Palm Seaside County Sheriff’s Workplace who had been killed in a automobile crash in November, Governor Ron DeSantis introduced Monday.
On Thursday, Nov. 21, Corporal Luis Paez, Deputy Sheriff Ralph Waller, and Deputy Sheriff Ignacio Diaz had been hit by the SUV whereas stopped on the shoulder of Southern Boulevard in Loxahatchee.
Paez and Waller had been pronounced useless on the scene, whereas Diaz passed away on Monday, Nov. 25 because of accidents sustained within the crash.
DeSantis mentioned he initially directed flags to be flown at half-staff to honor Paez and Waller however has now amended the order to incorporate Diaz.
Flags will probably be flown at half-staff from dawn to sundown on Tuesday to honor the trio.
