    Bucs player, local business owners team up for Thanksgiving giveback

    TOWN N’ COUNTRY, FLA. (WFLA) — Two native enterprise homeowners and a Bucs participant are becoming a member of forces to offer again to a neighborhood they know and love this vacation season.

    Enterprise homeowners, Jovanna York and Carlos Gutierrez, are partnering with Buccaneer’s Defensive Finish, Will Gholston, to host a free turkey drive skate occasion for the City N’ Nation neighborhood.

    “After college we used to stroll the streets on a regular basis,” York recalled.

    A long time of recollections really feel like yesterday for York and Gutierrez who’ve at all times known as City N’ Nation house.

    “We each have been raised right here, went to varsities round right here,” York stated. “We used to return skate right here. This has been my greatest buddy since third grade.”

    “It is big as a result of your neighborhood is who makes you and shapes you,” Gholston stated. “I do know that coming from Detroit. My neighborhood helped me grow to be the person that I’m, so to have the chance to offer again to the neighborhood I am an element of- it is a no brainer.”

    “It is a blessing and it simply makes me extra completely satisfied to see the place I come from and provides again to individuals who come from the identical neighborhood as me,” York stated.

    The free occasion is Saturday, November 23 from 11 a.m. to three p.m. on the Skateworld on Paula Drive.
