    'Bones with skin': Florida women arrested after starving puppy found in home's bathroom, deputies say

    BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Two Florida girls had been arrested Wednesday after a ravenous pet was present in a toilet, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Workplace stated.

    In a video posted to social media, Sheriff Wayne Ivey stated the case began on March 27 when a neighborhood rescue was known as to the suspects’ dwelling to take a pet to an animal emergency hospital.

    “The canine was extraordinarily malnourished, emaciated in simply the worst of circumstances. It was a pet that had been not fed,” Ivey stated.

    The sheriff stated his staff was not allowed in the home as a result of the ladies did not need them to “see how dangerous the circumstances had been.”

    “The pet could not rise up,” Ivey stated. “Mainly, this canine was bones with pores and skin.”

    Ivey stated the canine had been saved in a toilet.

    “(The pet) Hadn’t been fed, hadn’t been nourished in any manner, hadn’t had any vet care, and the canine lastly obtained to some extent that they known as and requested for a rescue to return take it,” the sheriff stated.

    In response to Ivey, the girl claimed they did not know something was mistaken with the canine.

    ” one thing is mistaken now since you’re about to go to jail for it,” Ivey stated.

    The 2 girls had been recognized as Alexza Ramos and Keishawna Mass.

    They had been each charged with animal cruelty and protecting an animal enclosed with out train or recent air, the sheriff stated.

    No different particulars in regards to the case had been instantly out there.
