DEBARY, Fla. (WFLA) — A person is in custody after forcing two youngsters to undress at a park on Sunday evening, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Workplace stated.
Deputies responded to the park at round 7:45 p.m., the place they discovered the 2 17-year-olds, a boyfriend and girlfriend.
The victims stated the person, recognized as 39-year-old Marquevis Likelihood, approached them, hit the boy within the head with a handgun after which aimed his gun on the woman. He compelled each to undress, took their garments and left.
The boy was taken to the hospital to be handled for the laceration on his head.
VSO stated the preliminary investigation pointed to the motive of the assault as a retaliation for an altercation the suspect had with a member of the family of one of many victims.
Likelihood turned himself in on Monday and was booked into the Volusia County Department Jail. He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of aggravated battery with a firearm and two counts of armed theft.
