    Miami Gardens mother of 9 arrested after children found living in filth with no food, cops say

    MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — A 30-year-old Miami Gardens mom is going through 9 counts of kid neglect after police found her kids residing in what they described as “deplorable” situations, in accordance with an arrest report obtained by Native 10 Information on Tuesday.

    Miami Gardens police mentioned Ashley Lashay Jennings was arrested on Aug. 1 after officers responded to a attainable combat at a house close to the 17000 block of Northwest thirty sixth Avenue.

    Upon arrival, police mentioned they encountered 9 kids who appeared unbathed and coated in filth. They recognized Jennings because the mom of all 9 kids.

    In line with the report, a foul odor was coming from inside the house.

    Throughout a welfare test, officers mentioned they noticed feces and roaches on the kitchen flooring, and rubbish masking the bed room flooring and overflowing from closets.

    In addition they mentioned the house’s fridge contained no meals.

    Investigators concluded that Jennings “willfully failed or omitted to offer the victims with the care, supervision, and companies vital,” the report said.

    Police mentioned Jennings was arrested and transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Heart with out incident.

    She was not listed as an inmate on the Miami-Dade Corrections web site as of Tuesday morning.
