    Southwest Miami-Dade man accused of slashing, strangling woman who denied him sex

    MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A 59-year-old man from southwest Miami-Dade was arrested after allegedly strangling and slashing a girl after she denied him intercourse, in keeping with an arrest report obtained by Native 10 Information on Wednesday.

    Authorities say Eddie Lee Jones was arrested Tuesday night after an hours-long standoff with deputies and faces one rely every of second-degree tried homicide, aggravated battery with a lethal weapon and battery by strangulation.
