NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — A small aircraft was pressured to make an emergency touchdown in New Smyrna Seashore on Saturday.
A spokesperson with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that the plane landed round 9:30 a.m. on State Street 44.
In line with them, the pilot was the one occupant aboard, and the Volusia County Sheriff’s Workplace stated that he was unhurt within the touchdown.
FAA data confirmed that the aircraft, a fixed-wing, single-engine package aircraft, was a 2003 Glasair GlaStar that had an lively registration by means of October 2028.
