FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Detectives recognized a suspect in a 54-year-old girl’s homicide at a therapeutic massage parlor in Oakland Park as Chris Luchenberg, of Fort Lauderdale.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Workplace introduced on Friday that detectives had tracked down Luchenberg, 69, for the homicide of Cuiyun Fu.
“Luchenberg and Fu had identified one another for a couple of months,” Miranda Grossman, a spokeswoman for BSO, wrote in a press release.
The deadly capturing was on the Asian Spa, on the second flooring of a purchasing plaza constructing at 2700 West Oakland Park Boulevard, based on deputies.
“Luchenberg entered Fu’s enterprise the morning of Wednesday, July 16. That’s the place he shot and killed her earlier than leaving the scene,” Grossman wrote in her assertion. “Her physique was found the subsequent day.”
Deputies responded to the Asian Spa on Thursday. BSO Violent Intervention Proactive Enforcement Response, or VIPER, unit, deputies arrested Luchenberg on Friday morning, based on Grossman.
BSO correctional deputies booked Luchenberg on the major jail in Fort Lauderdale. He faces a cost of first-degree homicide with a firearm.
