OCALA, Fla. (WFLA) — Site visitors on a Florida interstate was backed up almost all-day Friday after a semi-truck hit an overpass.
The crash occurred simply after 10 a.m. on Interstate 75 in Ocala, in line with reports by NBC affiliate WESH.
Florida Freeway Patrol troopers mentioned a semi-truck hauling a big excavator on a flatbed trailer struck the Southwest 66th Road overpass.
Particles might be seen protecting the roadway, and lengthy traces of vehicles stretched down the interstate as employees cleared the realm.
No accidents have been reported.
Friday’s incident was not the primary time this has occurred.
A dump truck received caught beneath the identical overpass in June 2023 and induced one lane of the interstate to be shut down for hours, WESH reported.
