    Florida Democrats seek answers on immigration detention sites

    TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WFLA) — Amid rising backlash, Florida is pushing forward with plans for extra immigration detention facilities. Governor Ron DeSantis and President Donald Trump are additionally calling on different states to comply with in Florida’s footsteps.

    “We need to fill this place up,” stated Florida Legal professional Normal James Uthmeier. “The governor and Kevin have proven they will construct bridges in three days, so why not some detention amenities? Hopefully there’s extra to return.”


    Florida’s ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ detention center is set to receive its first group of immigrants
