    Florida girl, 12, riding scooter seriously hurt after unlicensed driver hits her: FHP

    CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A 12-year-old Florida lady was significantly harm after an unlicensed driver hit her whereas she was driving a scooter, the Florida Freeway Patrol mentioned.

    NBC affiliate WBBH spoke to the lady’s grandmother, who advised them that the lady, named Eden, stays unconscious and closely sedated at St. Petersburg Hospital as of Friday night time.

    Investigators mentioned the crash occurred alongside Straightforward Road in Port Charlotte simply after 5 p.m. on Thursday.

    In keeping with FHP, the 12-year-old was driving her electrical scooter when she entered the trail of a minivan.

    The driving force, Arlin Salazar, was arrested after investigators mentioned she didn’t have a sound license, which she had been cited for earlier than.

    Neighbor Nicole Isgrig advised WBBH that she was outdoors along with her youngsters when the highway was out of the blue blocked by emergency responders.

    FHP advised WBBH that it has referred Salazar’s case to ICE for overview.
