TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Governor Ron DeSantis stated Florida Freeway Patrol Troopers now have extra authority in immigration circumstances.
FHP troopers, together with FDLE particular brokers and even FWC officers have been sworn in as Particular Deputy U.S. Marshals to provide them broader authority in circumstances that contain people who find themselves within the nation illegally.
The governor stated this may permit Florida legislation enforcement officers to conduct operations and arrest unlawful immigrants with out the assistance of federal businesses.
