CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WFLA)— A lady was arrested after pepper-spraying a number of canines at a canine park, the Cape Coral Police Division stated.
On April 12, round 8:41 a.m., officers responded to a name with reference to a girl in her 60s strolling outdoors of a Rotary Park Canine Park and spraying one thing at a number of canines.
The caller informed officers one of many canines needed to have its eyes flushed resulting from what was sprayed on its face, police stated.
When officers arrived on the canine park, they spoke with a witness who identified Charlene Tedesco, 67, who had sprayed a number of canines inside the park.
The witness informed officers Tedesco would stroll across the outdoors of the fence, and when a canine inside the five-foot fence on the park approached her and her canine, she would spray one thing on the canine.
One other witness stated a canine was sprayed within the eyes and was yelping, crying, and attempting to rub its eyes within the grime, police stated.
The proprietor of the canine and the witness washed the canine’s eyes out with a hose.
CCPD stated one other witness said Tedesco admitted to spraying canines in the event that they get too near the fence.
The canine that bought sprayed within the eyes needed to be dragged to the hose to spray its eyes, and Tedesco was the one one within the neighborhood, the canine’s proprietor informed officers.
Officers spoke with Tedesco and stated a number of folks said she was pepper-spraying their canines by the fence.
