PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida girl is dealing with animal cruelty prices after her canine was discovered barely standing with urine and faces trapped in its matted fur, an affidavit stated.
In December 2024, Charlotte County Animal Management was notified of a canine in poor situation below the care of its proprietor, 45-year-old Diana Holder.
An officer stated the Yorkie combine, named Odie, had severely matted fur round its complete physique, with feces and urine trapped across the again half, and will barely stand.

After a warrant was signed final week, Holder was arrested over the weekend at her Port Charlotte house, dealing with prices of cruelty to animals and confinement or abandonment of an animal. She is being held on a $5,000 bond and can’t be in possession of any animals.
