MARION COUNTY, Fla. – Twenty-one horses were killed early Tuesday when a Reddick barn caught hearth, inflicting the roof to break down, officers mentioned.

The hearth broke out round 3:30 a.m. within the 6000 block of Northwest 118th Road.
In response to Marion County Fireplace Rescue, a 911 caller reported that the barn was ablaze and horses have been trapped inside.
Firefighters arrived at 4:13 a.m. and located the ten,000-square-foot single-story barn engulfed in flames.
Officers mentioned the roof had collapsed on high of the construction, and 21 horses died within the hearth.
The hearth was below management about an hour after firefighters arrived.
No civilians or firefighters have been injured.
The State of Florida Bureau of Fireplace, Arson and Explosives Investigators and the Marion County Fireplace Marshal’s Workplace are investigating the trigger and origin of the fireplace.
