    Bus driver accused of shooting, killing 2 passengers in South Florida resigns: report

    Earlier protection: Miami Gardens police stated two passengers aboard a bus have been shot to loss of life by the driving force on March 30.

    MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WFLA) — The bus driver accused of fatally shooting two passengers on a Miami-Dade Transit bus final week has resigned, in line with a report from NBC affiliate WTVJ.

    Following the March 30 incident, county officers allegedly started the termination course of for the driving force, who has but to be publicly recognized.

    Final Monday, officers launched the identification of the victims— 44-year-old Lonnie Stephenwade Harley and 46-year-old Ejaash Bail Carter, who have been shot to loss of life following a verbal argument.

    The victims have been airlifted to a neighborhood hospital, the place they each died from their accidents.

    “Presently, it is a delicate case requiring cautious consideration. We’re working intently with the SAO and can present updates as they grow to be obtainable,” police stated on April 2.

    WTVJ reported that the case stays beneath investigation by Miami Gardens police and the State Lawyer’s Workplace. It’s unclear if or what expenses the driving force could face.
